I travel for work and know it’s common for hotels to refund an unused night after an early checkout. On the phone, the representative insisted that every hotel refuses refunds for early checkout. When I asked whether leaving even a day early meant losing the extra night’s payment, he said yes. I told him he was lying and that I didn’t want to do business with the company. He then offered to ask management whether they’d make an exception. I said I wasn’t staying after being lied to. He replied that he already had my card information, that I’d accepted the terms on a recorded line, and that he was charging it anyway. I said he could charge it and I’d call VISA afterward to report fraud, and he could deal with VISA’s lawyers. He repeated that the recorded call showed I wanted a room and that he’d run the card regardless. I repeated what I’d already said. Then he got angry, told me, “I’m sorry you’re too poor to stay here,” and hung up. I don’t know if this customer service rep thinks he’s still in the caste system, but he tried to bully me into getting a room. I’d never stay at this business. The representative was manipulative and unprofessional, and I can only imagine what it’s like at the hotel. Choose somewhere like the home2suites by Hilton or a small mom-and-pop place that respects American culture and values.

Dan was wonderful and helped me get set up with a Choice Privileges Membership. Dawn at the front desk did a great job answering my questions, and Terrence made sure all my maintenance requests were handled promptly.

The hotel was fully booked when David checked us in, but since we had a reservation, he upgraded our room so we could get the best possible night's rest. My service dog made the stay more complicated. Not everyone respects that need, but David did his best to put us near the elevator because I’m dizzy much of the time, which is why I need a bigger service dog.

The rooms look nothing like the photos, and the Google pictures are very misleading about the hotel’s appearance and cleanliness. The tub was nasty and had to be cleaned before I could use it. There was no breakfast, and the elevators look like they’re falling apart and need serious work.

Our stay was amazing. The hotel was comfortable, the staff were really friendly, and you and your family will enjoy it. They’re pet friendly too, which is a plus.
