There were plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance, and I highly recommend checking this location out. The room was very clean, and we liked the TV’s welcome message. Nequel, if I have the name right, was especially accommodating to my wife and me and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Apologies if I got her name wrong.

The room felt super comfortable, with nice high ceilings, and the breakfast was great. The woman running breakfast was so nice, though she needed help. Once it got busy, guests left huge messes as soon as she stepped away, and I felt bad for her. The gym is better than most big-chain gyms. There were just two things to improve: the tub coatings are starting to come off and need refinishing, and the breakfast staff member needs another person to help. The place surprised me in a great way. The workers were wonderful when I arrived, hanging out with popcorn and setting a family-friendly mood. The curb appeal was good, there was plenty of parking, and I felt secure. Everyone, from housekeeping to the grounds crew, greeted me. I’ll be back. 10/10 for the staff. You can tell management is doing a great job when people like their jobs.

Charlotte was very helpful when we arranged a wedding block for our friends and family. We love staying at Home2s because it’s always clean and the staff are great. Breakfast was pretty good, and I like that there’s coffee in the common area all day. They’re accommodating with pets, too.

We were all comfortable, and our pup Delilah enjoyed the stay. The room and service were awesome, and the hotel was very pet friendly. We were in Hammond for the renaissance fair. Breakfast could’ve been a little better: my bagel was stale, and there was no yogurt or pastries.

I’ve stayed at five Home2Suites in different cities and states, and they’ve all been great except this one. My one-night stay should have cost $273.52, but I was charged twice for the pet fee and related taxes, an extra $82.47. I asked for a refund before leaving and was given a receipt for it. Apparently, the manager then charged another $82.47 to my card, along with a miscellaneous $25 charge. In total, I’ve been charged $272.41 more than I owed. I’m disputing all the charges with my credit card company. I called the manager to discuss it and still haven’t received a call back. I’ll never stay at this location again.
