Colonial Shores Resort

We booked the most basic room with two queen beds so we could spend time around Hampton Bays, and the owners made us feel like family. They were having a family party by the pier when we arrived, welcomed us in, and even shared dinner and drinks with us. We were surprised and so grateful for their generosity and hospitality. It's a simple, cozy place in a beautiful setting, and a good choice for a family without spending a lot. We'll definitely come back!

The pool was clean and inviting, and the place was quiet, private, and in a good location for the price. It was good for kids, and we enjoyed our stay. Things were basically as described, and the motel met my expectations. The locked office was a little unusual, since we had to ring the bell each time. The cottage floors left our feet very dirty, just as another review mentioned. If they fixed the floor issue, I'd happily stay again.

After booking in late 2019 for a hoped-for 2020 visit, I had two years to wonder if this was the right place. We finally spent 5 nights here and it was absolutely fantastic. The little cabins and rooms were perfect, the views were beautiful, and the whole site was immaculate. The pool was lovely, and the venue was quiet and well run. Our linens were changed and tidied more often than at the big chain hotels where we'd stayed earlier in the vacation. Thanks for a perfect time.

We had such a great weekend at Colonial Shores in Hamptons Bay, and my husband, my girls, and I all loved it. The cottage was clean, the amenities were good, and the service was superb. The location was great too. We only wish we'd stayed longer, so we've already booked for next year. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
