Super 8 Jessup/Baltimore Area

For a one-night stay, the spacious room had the amenities we needed, including a mini fridge and microwave that both worked fine. The large standing shower was lovely for a relaxing morning shower, and the bathroom had a heater. I also liked the backlit mirror, which gave me bright but relaxing light for doing makeup. There wasn’t a hair dryer, and there were fewer towels than you’d usually get in a hotel room. I brought my own dryer, though, and the towels were manageable. There was no breakfast, just coffee. I’ve stayed at other Super 8 locations that usually offer coffee and yogurt, but that was okay. I enjoyed my stay.

I drive a tractor trailer and left it at the TA truck stop down the street, then used a Lyft to get here. I couldn’t believe how clean the place was. I have really bad OCD, and everything from the staff to the room was perfect. It looks like they remodeled, since literally everything in the room was brand new. The sheets could be replaced with better ones, but otherwise it was clean. There was even a cleaning lady still on site at 9 pm. No breakfast, though.

The room and staff were decent, though the stay wasn’t perfect. No bugs, and the TV channels were good. There was a little traffic noise, but otherwise it was quiet. There was no breakfast, despite what was advertised.

I had to stop overnight when the load in my 24-foot box truck got out of whack. I picked this place mostly because of the name and because it cost less than the other places. A room for one was $50, or $60 total after taxes and everything. They managed to fit my truck into the small parking lot. The room was clean and even had a microwave and fridge. I don’t usually see amenities like that in a $50 motel room, lol. Shopping was within a 10-minute walk. I’d definitely stay here again.
