Super 8 Hardeeville SC

The room had enough space and was quiet most of the time during my January 11th to 17th stay. It was okay overall, but the internet was really bad and the heat didn’t work. I thought about changing rooms, but I had too many things to move. I also chose not to extend my stay because I needed to be nearer the city. The internet and heating both need improvement.

After driving eight hours, I arrived and the clerk told me she had to cancel my reservation because they didn’t accept four dogs. When I’d booked by phone, I specifically asked if four small dogs were okay and was told yes, with a $15 charge per dog. I agreed and gave my credit card details. On the day of the reservation I also completed the pre-check-in after receiving a message. I asked why nobody had called to tell me about the dogs before I made the drive, but she couldn’t answer. Terrible customer service.

The room was filthy, and the pictures explain it. There were burn holes in the blanket even though the rooms are marked no smoking. A disgusting stay, 1/10. I highly do not recommend it.

The price is fair, the rooms are amazing, and the owners have been great. During my stay at the Super 8, the staff have been exceptionally kind and understanding. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a room.
