Super8 byWyndham Hardin Little Bighorn Battlefield

We were in town for three nights for the Montana State Swim Meet and were very happy with our room. It was already warm when we arrived, and the temperature stayed comfortable the whole time. The hot water works fine once you turn the handle the other way, and the TV was top-shelf. The location was handy, about two minutes from the pool, grocery store, and local restaurants. From check-in through our dealings with the employees, the people at the Super 8 greeted us warmly every day. For what we paid, we really couldn't complain.

The manager was very friendly, and our room was quiet and clean. The motel is older, with some areas remodeled. The bed was comfortable, though I wished there'd been a second pillow. I also missed having carpet, but it can hide dirt that you can feel under bare feet on laminate. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water, though the spray only reached below my chest. The pool was out of service, but we didn't need it. I'd stay again. Just don't expect to find food in town after 9 pm.

We stayed four nights and were told that maid service only happens one day a week, so we declined towels and toiletries. On the day we were in, a man from housekeeping came in without knocking and stood there looking at me in my sleep clothes and my daughter in her underwear. When I told him to get out, he just kept standing there. The hotel is poorly maintained, and even the walls look dirty if you take a close look. Spend a little extra and go to Homestead. They provide the towels and toiletries you need, have breakfast, and are much friendlier and cleaner than Super 8. I'm not giving Super 8 my money again.

The room was filthy, with an unmopped floor and hair in the bath, shower, and behind the door. There wasn't a bedside lamp, and the connecting door meant we could hear everything in the next room. They advertise breakfast and a gym, but there's no gym and no breakfast. That's false advertising. Stay somewhere else until the price matches how poor this motel is.
