Studio 7 Extended Stay

Gnats somehow got into the picture frames, which is kind of impressive, honestly. There were also blood spots, dirty stained towels that are definitely no longer white, and a shower that didn’t work properly. Then there were bedbugs, so I got really itchy. I hope someone can recommend a good anti-itch cream. If you’re fine with roaches crawling over the floors and walls, maybe even in bed with you for a little sleepover, this place is for you.

I came in to make a delivery and noticed a sign saying all visitors had to sign in. I waved to the desk and apologized for missing it when I entered, but the woman gave me a death stare. She hadn’t acknowledged me or the folded-up rug that was a tripping hazard, so I fixed the rug myself before going upstairs. I’d gone to the wrong floor, and the stairs had tape holding the floor and carpet down. I dropped off the delivery on my way back down. Maybe if she’d been doing her job instead of acting like a stuck-up snob, this could’ve been a better review. I’ll never stay here or recommend it. It’s right on the corner of methville and crack town. If I ever have another delivery here, I’ll be sure to trip over those messed-up rugs instead of helping out.

The town area was quiet, and the hotel was close to the highway. From my room I had a nice view, and I couldn’t hear noise from any other rooms. The atmosphere was pleasant, staff were professional, and the rooms were clean, easy on the eyes, and had the amenities listed on the website. The bedding was great, though the beds could be a little softer.

The front desk woman was nice and managed to get me a non-smoking room for me and my pet, though only smoking rooms that allowed pets were left. I stopped late at night after getting too tired to make it back to San Antonio. The first key didn’t work, and I’m pretty sure our room hadn’t been cleaned: there was a loofah still hanging in the shower and a hanger on the floor. The beds were really uncomfortable, and the place smelled kind of funny.
