The location is fantastic, right downtown Kalispell, with restaurants and breweries an easy walk away. I HIGHLY recommend Bingo Night at Bias Brewing. Everyone at the Kalispell Grand was polite and helpful, and the breakfast, fresh evening cookies, and popcorn were wonderful. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The rooms are definitely small, though that’s to be expected in a historic hotel. I hear the bathrooms are due for renovation next year, which should be a big improvement.

I spent my last night of a Glacier vacation at this historic hotel, right in the heart of Kalispell. The manager was kind and helpful, and the location on the main drag is perfect. There’s free parking in a lot near the entrance, plus a small self-serve breakfast and coffee in the morning, all included. You can really feel the history of a place that’s over 100 years old. Highly recommend!

I was worried after reading comments about cleanliness, dated amenities, and tiny rooms, but our stay didn’t match any of that. The King single room was average in size, the bed was comfortable, the A/C handled a hot day, and the bathroom was fine. I also liked relaxing in the guest area on the first floor. The elevator is very slow, but the stairs are wide and well lit, and I tend to use them anyway. Nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay.

My sister and I loved staying here. The location is hard to beat, with shops, bars, and food all within walking distance. The place was beautiful, everyone was kind, breakfast tasted great, and the cookies and popcorn in the evening were a lovely bonus.

You’re right downtown, and there’s a convenient parking lot out back. The lobby puts out cookies and popcorn from 7 pm. Like other classic hotels, the rooms are quaint and the plumbing is older.
