Check what the room will actually cost each night before booking. I stayed two nights and paid $265.08, even though the advertised price was supposed to be lower. The nightly rate seemed to change to whatever they wanted. If an emergency cuts a weeklong stay short, don't count on getting the right refund for the unused nights. Some rooms also weren't fully clean. Make sure the amount you're being charged is clear.

The shower didn't work, the door wouldn't lock, and the fire alarms were busted. I saw young girls twerking in the hallways and smelled marijuana. The sheets were filthy, with stains and dog hair. The guys at reception were nice, at least.

We were glad to be there for only a few hours of sleep. The hallways smelled of smoke and weed, and all the stairwell doors were shattered. The website photos were misleading, since the place wasn't clean or inviting. Our door lock was broken, the towels were dirty, the shower curtain was covered in mold, and the toilet broke and leaked. The front desk first said maintenance wasn't there and wouldn't come. After I warned them the water could cause damage, they did send someone, but we had already fixed it ourselves. They left in a hurry without checking for damage. I don't recommend this place.

The room number was written upside down on the wall, so it was hard to find. Inside, there were dead roaches on the floor. The bathroom sink and the area by the toilet paper roll had old, dried toilet paper, even on the wall near a bed. There was facial hair in the sink, hair all over the shower and bathroom, and more roaches. The bathroom mirror was filthy, with blood all over it. I took photos, grabbed our bags, and went straight to the office after being in the room for less than five minutes. They asked what I had done to it and were very reluctant to refund us, even after I explained why we were leaving. They went back and forth and looked at the room for about 15 minutes before giving the money back. Then they made me reach over the counter on my tiptoes to grab the receipt from the printer. No apology, just accusations toward me and my 15-year-old niece. There was garbage outside and in the hallways, a smell of weed and urine, dirty rooms, and rude staff. I never write reviews, especially negative ones, but the way they handled this was as if they didn't care. Listen to the reviews. The good ones must be for a different Red Roof.
