The bed was comfortable, but the rest of the stay was awful, and I’m really disappointed. I drove all the way from Abilene, Texas after seeing decent reviews, and I can’t imagine how this place got them. There was a cat urine smell outside, and the person who greeted me wasn’t pleasant. High schoolers were all over the place, and food was scattered on the floor. My room smelled like mold, then like vomit and poop when I got close to the wall. The bedding was terrible and had stains on a pillow. The shower barely put out water, so rinsing my hair and body took forever. In the hallway, plug-in air fresheners seemed to be covering up a smell. Breakfast was old and hard. Out back, it smelled of cat urine too. It was definitely not a pleasant stay, and it wasn’t worth nearly $400. I’ll never stay or recommend it again. I really wish I had something nice to say.

We were still hours from home, and check-in wasn’t until 3 pm. I asked the manager if we could get in at noon, and he found us a room that had just been cleaned. I’m so grateful for that. The room was very nice, and the staff were as accommodating as could be.

The lobby was tidy, but the upstairs hall and our room smelled strongly of smoke. For a non-smoking hotel, that was a big disappointment. Breakfast was barely a breakfast: two cereals, honey buns, a pancake machine, and small yogurts as the only protein. The coffee came from a fountain, like a soda fountain, rather than being freshly brewed. We were traveling through to NOLA, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they at least deal with the smoke smell.

For the price, I’d definitely book this hotel again. The road sign said it had recently been renovated, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were really comfortable too. It made for a great overnight stay.

The room was updated and clean, and the shower got hot. The area was quiet and I felt safe. For under $100, what more could you ask? I’d absolutely stay again.
