Comfort Inn & Suites Harrisonburg

The breakfast was great, and the location made it easy to get to food, shopping, and restaurants. This was just right for my stay. If I’m back in the area, I’ll stay here again.

Of the three hotels I used on my road trip through several states, this one was my favorite. I stayed two nights in the spring while visiting Shenandoah National Park. The room was roomy, clean, quiet, and had a very comfortable bed. There are two elevators, and I never waited more than a couple of minutes for one in the lobby. Parking was a little tight, though I could still find a spot even later in the day. The hotel was easy to locate, with plenty of nearby food options. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with a dog, and I’d happily stay here again.

Breakfast was enjoyable, and both the room and linens were clean. The location is close to two Harrisburg exits, so traffic wasn’t bad, and dining and attractions are nearby. Still, asking the front desk for a couple more towels and washcloths seemed to be a huge bother to them. The hotel is showing its age, too. The back door wouldn’t work with a key card, and when we mentioned it, we were told nothing could be done.

We arrived very late on one of the year's busiest weekends, needing a room badly. Other hotels had sky-high rates, while Comfort Inn was reasonably priced. The front desk gentleman was incredibly kind and helpful, found us a great room, and welcomed our dogs. He did everything he could for us when we were in a desperate spot. Breakfast was delicious too. I can’t recommend this place enough.
