We came back for one night for my daughter's birthday, after staying three nights in August when I dropped my baby girl off at her JMU dorm for the first time. The hotel was pretty full then, and we enjoyed the JMU Family welcoming table. This time it was nearly empty, probably because of the winter storm warnings. The front desk lady working Friday (January 23rd) night was so nice, sweet, and helpful. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. Our rooms were clean, with spotless white bedding, and we enjoyed the complementary breakfast. We like how close the hotel is to the university, and got good prices. If we need to stay again, we’ll choose this hotel.

The employees really make this place, they’re kind, helpful, and always around when you need them. My kids love the free popcorn and cookies. The rooms are comfortable, the beds feel like sleeping on clouds, and the towels are 12/10.

The room was spacious and the bed comfy, and Diana at the front desk gave exceptional customer service. Breakfast had quite a few options and was fairly tasty, especially the amazing waffles. And the popcorn here is the best. If you’re visiting Luray, I’d consider staying here.

The breakfast woman was delayed by the weather in the morning, but the front desk guy got out what he could and apologized. Once she got to work safely, she quickly got everything else ready. At check-in, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and just right. I’d recommend this as a nice place with a friendly staff.

We stopped here in Dec' 25 on the way to FL with our dog, and the $25 pet fee seemed reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit older, and in a quiet spot off the highway. There were plenty of dinner choices nearby and no noise problems. It had a fridge, a freezer for cold packs, a microwave, and a coffee maker. I’d stay again.
