Madera Apartments

The clubhouse was spacious, had a beautiful atmosphere, and looked out over the pool. I rented it for my baby shower, and it was a huge success. Our friends and family loved gathering there, and it made a special day even better.

Jacks and Monique made the move-in process seamless and stress-free while my girlfriend and I were moving in together. They were incredibly helpful, and I absolutely love my new home.

The pest problem, especially the Argentine ants, has been incredibly frustrating. Other reviews about them are accurate. From what I can tell, the wooden building has ants hidden inside its structure. The leasing office usually tells residents to book a visit from their pest vendor, Okrin, who applies ant gel or sprays the area. That helps for a while, but the ants return whenever the weather gets hotter or more humid, no matter how many treatments they do. I've come to believe this is a structural issue pest control can't fix. Moving out has been the only real solution for me. Anyone considering Madera should be prepared for serious pest issues. We ended up passing on this apartment because of the location, but Kimberly's tour impressed us a lot. Of the five places we saw that day, hers stood out for how caring and prepared she was, and for all the attention to detail. The map she gave us was the most useful one we got from any of the tours.
