Comfort Inn & Suites Harrisonville

The location is great and convenient, but I own a small business and will be spending my money elsewhere because of how the front desk and manager handled this. I put two employees up for two nights. One found a cockroach in the bathroom and reported it to the front desk, which just said okay. I called the manager, left my number, and still haven't heard back. I wasn't asking for a refund. I need a hotel for 14 more nights and wanted to know if they treat the rooms. Needless to say, my guys are staying somewhere else.

We really enjoy staying here when my husband has business in the area, often for 2+ nights in a row. The staff are kind and pleasant, and whenever we've had an issue, they've taken care of it. Breakfast is really good, and they keep it stocked so there's plenty whenever we come down. The only problem was another guest's loud music. Their speaker box was against the wall by our room, so the bass vibrated enough to carry through. Once they moved it away from the wall, we didn't hear any more noise for the rest of the visit. The pool is a bit chilly, but you get used to it, and the warm hottub whirlpool is so relaxing. Highly recommend staying here. We enjoy doing business with them.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and we got to stay on the third floor. But the bathroom was really out of date, with pits in the tub, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower were empty and hadn't been replaced. The front desk guy didn't know how to install them, either. Doors kept slamming at bedtime and waking me up. If I stayed at another Comfort Inn, I'd pick the one where I used to work. This one needs work.

I went in to reserve a room, but the clerk was really rude. He said he didn't care if we were seniors or what the website said, that his price was the price, and we could go somewhere else if we didn't like it. So we did. Comfort Inn, you need to do better.
