Old Mill Inn

We stayed in the Northampton room and could see the falls. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade biscuits, which were the best I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable, and our stay couldn’t have gone better. It was a lovely local getaway for my husband and me. We’d love to return and absolutely recommend it.

The river runs right through the property, and the little waterfall makes the surroundings feel calm and scenic. The Old Mill Inn in Hatfield occupies a historic mill building on the Mill River, restored as a distinctive boutique inn. Its industrial past and modern renovation give it a lot of atmosphere. With the nature views, quiet comfort, and focus on design, it feels more like a peaceful retreat than a standard hotel.

This was our second visit, and Unit 10 on the ground floor felt like having a place of our own while seeing family in Northampton. There was plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice view. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a treat, and the cafe was close enough that bringing it back to our unit was easy. We’ll come back if we make the trip again.

The rooms are clean and lovely, and breakfast is delicious. The location is beautiful, but what really makes this one of our favorite places is the people running the Inn. They take care of you like good family.
