Wingate by Wyndham Hattiesburg

We arrived too late for breakfast, but the staff went out of their way to make sure we still got something to eat. They made sure we had what we needed, and were very friendly. The rooms were clean, the location is convenient, and there are lots of nice restaurants just around the block. Affordable too. Would recommend, 5 ✨.

The lobby floors felt sticky, and the tables and chairs weren’t always clean. The morning coffee was good, though. The fitness room is pretty average, but with just 1-2 people there, there’s enough room for a quick workout on the pulley machine or aerobic equipment. The location is good, parking is okay, and the rooms are alright. Cleaner public areas would bring this up to four stars for me, and friendlier staff would make it five.

A decent budget option. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were fine but could use a little TLC, and the TV was a good size with an adjustable mount. They provided pretty much all the essentials I needed. I’d stay again.

There was a marijuana smell in the parking lot and elevator, and the place looked like a Motel 8 with only the outside sign changed. I’ve stayed in better Motel 8s. This definitely didn’t meet what I consider Wyndham standards. If I’d known it was this trashy, I would’ve stayed on base in the barracks.
