The whole area was calm and relaxing, just right for a little Northwoods getaway. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the rooms were and how comfortable the beds felt. I’d be happy to come back soon.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, which is what matters most to me. The new owners from the past couple of years have been friendly and helpful, and I like some of the updates. I’ve tried other motels over the years, but I still choose this one.

Stu and Denise were such good hosts, and the room had great amenities. It was very clean, too. The location worked perfectly for us, close to everything in Hayward. We had a wonderful stay at the Northwoods Motel.

A quiet place with friendly staff all through our visit. The motel has been updated with good taste and is exceptionally clean and well cared for. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

This has become our regular spot for the Birkie, and we’ll keep coming back. The owners are personable, and the rooms have been remodeled over the last few years and look really nice. We’ve stayed at Riverside, AmericInn, Flat Creek Lodge, and Super 8 in Hayward, and we like this motel more than those options.
