Super 8 by Wyndham Hayward WI

I'm visiting from Indianapolis and have had a great stay. The room is clean, and Hector at the front desk is so nice. Shelly, the housekeeper, does a great job with the room and even helped me with breakfast by making my waffle. They're really great people with hospitality.

When we arrived, the pool and hot tub were empty, and nobody had told us that beforehand. The service wasn't great either, with the owners talking to each other instead of helping the customer. I was glad I hadn't paid before arriving, since I don't think I would've gotten my money back. I tried booking online through a third party and the reviews weren't bad, so please be aware.

We've stayed there for two to three years over the summer, renting by the week. We're out all day for business and work and come back just to sleep. This is the first year we've had rude service, and I wish they'd bring back the guy from 2025. When we checked in, Mateo, or someone with a name like that, said, “Oh, you staying for a whole week?” We said yes, and he told us not to leave garbage in the room and to keep it clean. He looked at us strangely, and it seemed to me he was being racist. We felt uncomfortable but didn't say anything. The next day, as we were walking in, he said we were making too much mess and that his wife couldn't handle it. Then he said he'd spoken to the owner and this was the last time they'd let us book because we were causing problems. I don't know what problems he meant. We booked another week, just checked in, and the service was even worse. I tend to give people a second chance, but not again. I hope the manager or owner sees this and addresses it. Not acceptable!

My overnight stay at Super 8 by Wyndham in Hayward, WI was convenient and pleasant. The room was quiet and comfortable, with clean bedding and appliances that worked. It was neat, housekeeping kept the rooms in good shape, and check-in was quick, with courteous, informative staff.
