Denali Touch of Wilderness

We arrived late and found a note on the door with everything we needed to get into our room. The staff were friendly from the time we made the reservation through breakfast and checkout, and they handled our vegetarian dietary needs without a problem. We enjoyed the food. Our room was clean and attractive, and even with the hotel fully booked it stayed quiet. I’d definitely come back if I return to Denali.

Touch of Wilderness made a lovely home away from home while we visited Denali. The B&B’s rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were kind-hearted, and breakfast was scrumptious. We also loved the distinctive little touches of Alaskan culture on display. We’re so grateful we stayed here and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Valerie and Nichole, for your generosity and such a lovely experience!

There’s a nice shared room where you can sit and read or watch TV. We had a very clean room, and the rest of the place was clean as well. When the clouds cleared, the mountain view was beautiful. There was a salt lick visible from the window that moose often visit, though none came by during our stay.

The owner was very accommodating, and we had clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. Our room was close to the dining area, so voices in the morning carried in. We’re heavy sleepers, though, so it didn’t bother us. If noise might concern you, I’d book a room farther from the common areas.
