Super 8 by Wyndham Wenatchee

The room was clean, the staff were really good, and the pool was a nice surprise on such a hot travel day. Breakfast was the one small letdown, with sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast, and cereal, so the choices were pretty basic. Otherwise, it was a really nice overnight stay at this Super 8.

The lobby could use a little refreshing, but the staff were helpful and the rest of the hotel was adequate. It was clean and had a nice place to sleep. We liked the pool and hot tub, and waking up to the smell of fresh coffee was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff were nice, and breakfast was good by my waffle-maker test. I also liked the pool and hot tub. The bed was firm but not great, and I had a couple of encounters with spiders. The room felt cramped, with an awkward furniture layout that didn't use the space well. The bathroom was small, the phone wasn't beside the bed, and the outlets were hard to reach. Acceptable, as I said.

The walls were thick enough that I got a good night's sleep, and the bed was genuinely comfortable. My room looked recently refreshed and was very clean. The desk had a wireless phone charger and a USB charging cube, a nice touch. The towels were almost absurdly thin, and there was no fitness room, but given the price and the other small comforts, I gave it four stars.
