Quality Inn & Suites West Helena

I have a bad back, and after I mentioned it, the staff promptly moved me from an upstairs room to one on the lower level. They were excellent. The room was clean, and getting in and out was easy.

Every room in our multi-room booking had serious problems. The rooms were dirty, with rolled-up used linens left on beds, and smelled like pot. It was exhausting to be left waiting while they tried to find clean rooms, and changing to one that worked or was clean was difficult. The young woman at the desk was very nice and doing her best. The security cameras didn't seem placed to protect guests, but were conveniently positioned for people who don't want to be seen entering rooms. Handles came off in our hands, toilets wouldn't flush, locks didn't work, and there was unsafe activity in the parking lot. I regret staying here and would never come back.

It's very quiet, and the room was clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the price is reasonable. For what it costs, this place is almost perfect. I have no complaints.

The pool was broken, even though they told us it was working when we booked. The room was filthy: the carpet was dirty, and the bathtub had dirt and hair in it. I don't recommend staying here. Book somewhere else.
