Angelique greeted us with a smile, checked us in right away even though we arrived early, and shared information about the hotel, restaurants, walking trails, and area. The room was even better than we expected, clean and comfortable, with a microwave, small fridge, coffee and tea, a Keurig, and a safe. Blackout curtains blocked the desert sun nicely. We only stayed one night, but it was lovely. Breakfast was okay, though we had to wait for some hot food. I’d definitely return for a longer stay. Thank you, Angelique, for taking care of us!
Breakfast was great, with hot items, pastries, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The staff were very friendly too. We stayed one night and were comfortable, and I’d definitely come back if we’re in the area. Our room had two queen beds and all the standard things: TV, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, desk, chair, cabinets, and plenty of charging points. The bathroom was clean, with multiuse dispensers for soap, shampoo, shower gel, and lotion.
Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the homemade oatmeal and toppings instead of sugary instant packets. We also liked the King room setup, with a handy shelf by the entry for keys and a wallet. The room and bathroom felt modern and elegant, and the furnishings were in excellent shape. Blackout curtains worked well, there were plenty of bright lighting choices and outlets, and the TV was easy to see from bed. Even the desk chair was comfortable, which you don't often get. We enjoyed our three-night stay and would come back. A couple of small snags: the room wasn't serviced during our visit, so by the second night we were short on clean towels and tissues. We learned that service needs to be requested 24 hours ahead. There's lots of parking, though finding a spot near the entrance can be difficult with Railroad Pass casino visitors around. The gym has cardio gear, a full set of dumbbells, and two benches, but no yoga mats or universal strength machine.
We came for a comfortable place to sleep after days out exploring, and the room was large, modern, and very clean. It had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and the staff greeted us warmly each day. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold food, and parking was both free and plentiful. The only thing we didn't care about was the lack of a view. On past trips to Las Vegas we'd stayed on the Strip, but this time we wanted day trips to Death Valley, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire State Park, the Grand Canyon, and other sights. This hotel worked really well as a base for that. It's right by the highway and attached to a truck stop, yet we couldn't hear traffic, and gas cost 20 cents less than closer to Vegas. Downtown Vegas is about a 20-minute drive. There's a casino next door if you feel like gambling, and Bellagio has public 24-hour flat-rate parking for $20, credit card only. A comfortable bed was all we wanted at the end of the day. A hidden gem.
The staff were great and everyone was really friendly. It worked for us as an affordable place to stay while traveling, though it's about 20 miles away from I-15 toward Boulder City. If you want several food choices nearby, the options are limited to the steakhouse and bar across the parking lot. Parking also isn't very convenient, and there's a bit of a walk to and from the car. The pool is seasonal and wasn't open during our stay.
