Homewood Suites by Hilton Henderson South Las Vegas

The shower solved one of my biggest hotel gripes. It was spacious, bright, clean, and had a pull-down spray with controls that made sense. The whole place is surprisingly nice, with the sort of amenities you'd find at home if you lived in a very nice home. This is the kind of spot you discover and then don't want to tell anyone about, because, as the Eagles lyric goes, “call someplace paradise, kiss it goodbye.”

We stay at plenty of Hiltons, and this Homewood Suites is one of the best in Vegas. The rooms are renovated, huge, and clean. The pool and third floor were being worked on during our week-long stay, but there wasn't loud noise, so it didn't bother us. Breakfast was always well stocked and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can also walk to lots of shops and restaurants.

The rooms were nice, and the staff courteous. Check-in was a breeze, and the woman at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is in a good spot on Eastern, close to all the action in Henderson, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are cool, too, with a kitchenette so you can cook when you want. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, and I’d happily stay here again. I was in town for work and had a wonderful stay. The place felt safe, was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. Five stars.
