Kanuga gives me a feeling of peace and connection with nature, and spending time there helps me find my spiritual center. The staff are warm and friendly, welcoming you like family. The cabins are quaint and rustic, with working fireplaces and screened-in porches. The accommodations are simple, but the sheets, towels, and comforter were spotless.

Beautifully designed and set in a lovely location, it reminded me of the lodging in Dirty Dancing. The staff were very nice, and breakfast was super. Don't miss out!

My wife and I spent a long weekend here and loved it. Breakfast was great each morning. We found the place while looking for lodging in the area with EV charging for guests, and that turned out to be an excellent perk for us.

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with a gorgeous lake view. There are lots of amenities: a great playground for small kids, tennis and basketball courts, and a full gym. The rooms have a small fridge but no microwave or TV. Honestly, you'll be glad there's no TV because the place is too beautiful to need one. One practical heads-up, the AC unit sits high on the wall, and condensation drips from it, so don't leave belongings or valuables on the floor underneath.

The lake is very pretty, and the dining staff were helpful and kind. The food was great. I stayed in Pirchard guest house, which has a decent amount of space but could use some updating in spots. The beds were a bit rough, and anyone with breathing issues might want to consider a different option for an overnight stay. At the rehearsal dinner in the main dining area, the decor was tasteful, though the temperature felt a bit too warm to me personally. The wedding reception was at the pavilion overlooking the lake, with attentive, helpful staff and good food. There was plenty of space for the wedding party of about 75 people.
