I’m a recent guest at Hyatt Regency Dulles. On Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, a medicine bag with prescription medications and personal health items disappeared from my desk in room 718. I reported it to the front desk right away and was told housekeeping hadn’t seen it. There was no investigation, follow-up, or resolution. I emailed hotel management a formal complaint on Tuesday February 24th, 2026 at 500PM-EST and got no response. At 800PMEST that day, I filed a formal theft report with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, case number 20260550248. Officers came to the property and took statements. So far, the hotel has not reviewed the room’s keycard access logs, carried out what I’d call a meaningful theft investigation, responded to my written messages, or fulfilled its duty of care as an innkeeper under Virginia law. The manager, Viridiana, says there’s no record of housekeeping entering my room, but that seems impossible when my bed was made and my bags had been put away. Something feels fishy here. I’d recommend avoiding this place at all costs if you don’t want your property to go missing.

The room was great and the location was good. I could clearly hear the people in the next room talking, though. I’d probably have given this five stars if the unexpected $48 parking charge hadn’t been added. I booked three nights at a great rate, then learned on arrival that parking cost another $16 per night. I’ve never heard of a hotel this far out in the suburbs charging that much to park, but there’s a first time for everything, I suppose. Enjoy the $48. It got you this review and cost you a returning customer.

The building is gorgeous and reasonably clean for its age, but the adjoining rooms let sound travel badly. My neighbors talked loudly for much of the night, opened and shut their door over and over, then slammed the bathroom door at 330 am and scared me. I was exhausted from a long day of travel and normally sleep heavily, so they must have been making quite a racket for it to bother me that much. After I called the desk and asked them to speak to the next room, it suddenly got quiet, as if no one was there. Maybe they left or finally went to sleep. I barely slept. Hopefully you don’t get neighbors like mine. I was excited to find a good price for Saturday night, but should have known. The shuttle driver was kind and helpful, check-in was easy, and the lobby guests were dressed nicely and enjoying themselves politely. They put me in a room with an adjoining door, though the other guests weren’t part of my party. The front desk offered me snacks from the gift shop for the trouble, which I found quite offensive.

I booked one night before an early flight out of Dulles. The hotel was easy to reach and very close to the airport, and it was clean and welcoming as soon as I arrived. The updated room was lovely and made for a comfortable, relaxing night before traveling. It exceeded what I expected, and I’d stay here again when flying from Dulles.

Parking is a ripoff, and the stay was poor value. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff didn’t seem to care. I checked in at 12:30 am and there were no luggage carts. After waiting 20 minutes, I was sent to the third floor to look for one that wasn’t there. I gave up and carried on after wasting half an hour. Someone spilled salad by the elevator, and it sat there for at least three days, even though staff had to step over it.
