Econo Lodge Hesperia - Victorville I-15

I’ve never had customer service this horrible, and I travel quite a bit. Read the tiny print: they take your card details and charge you as soon as you book. Their policy is to collect payment at reservation time, and I missed that. I canceled right after booking, but it was too late. I admit I should have read the fine print more carefully, though my vision problems make that hard. I accept that mistake. What I can’t accept is how rude they were and how poorly they communicated. I had a very hard time understanding him. I feel like I’ve been robbed, and I’ll never stay there. After talking with them, I extended my stay at a different hotel. I regret trying to go cheap. If you’re okay with the unusual no-cancellation policy and the worst customer service, by all means stay here. Just read the small print. I hope no one else has the same lousy experience, but at least I can say I told the truth and tried to warn you.

I’ve been staying here for more than five years, and the customer service has always been amazing. Last night I was told I’d get one of the remodeled rooms, and I was excited. When I opened the door, the changes took my breath away. The new furniture and decor look beautiful, from the entrance right through to the bathroom. I won’t take my business elsewhere. I absolutely recommend Econolodge Mariposa Rd in Hesperia. The rooms look beautiful, and you won’t find better customer service elsewhere.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were great. It’s a nice, recently remodeled place for the price, though the freeway right beside the hotel makes it a bit noisy. Breakfast choices are limited: some fruit, danish, a pancake machine, instant oatmeal, and coffee. Some guests can also be noisy.

It’s good value for the money. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the rest of the staff were friendly too, two for two on service. The grounds were neat, with desert landscaping, decorative rock planters, and suitable foliage. There was plenty of parking, with almost all spaces right in front of the rooms. The rooms were clean, spacious, and tidy, with Spectrum TV channels. In the lobby, continental breakfast included a self-contained, push-button pancake maker. The pancakes were pretty good!
