Hampton Inn Hibbing

Lisa, the manager, really came through when a booking issue that wasn’t the hotel’s fault needed sorting out. She got it fixed, and the staff welcomed me warmly when I arrived for my work trip. My room was clean and pleasant, and they sent me off with coffee and bottled water. The hot breakfast was great as well. I had a really good experience from before the trip through my stay, and the team here is hard to beat.

The room was amazing, and breakfast was decent, though I’d skip the cut fruit. I enjoyed the hotel and its services overall. The pool felt a little dated, and there was so much chlorine in the hot tub that I came out with a headache and felt dizzy.

Denise was at the front desk and made us feel so welcome, taking care of whatever we needed. That’s why we keep coming back.

Patty from housekeeping was such a sweetheart. She chatted with my daughter about her little suitcase, and my daughter talked about it all day. I asked the front desk for Patty’s name so I could mention her here. We had a King room with a pull-out sofa. It was spotless, smelled fresh, and stayed at a comfortable temperature. The bed was soft, the comforter was properly warm, and the shower had strong pressure with steady water temperature. We never heard hallway noise. The pool was cute, with inner tubes and beach balls for the kids, and the hot tub was a nice size. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and lots of condiments. At the front desk, Jen checked us in with patience and kindness. The floors stayed clean and dry even in winter, the snack shop had lots of fairly priced choices, and the coffee was always hot and fresh. Little touches like funny cup holders were fun, and I appreciated having a baggage cart. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
