The winery and resort had rustic charm, was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly. I didn't try the wine, but the beer and cocktail I had were good. Hilman UT. is different, but I'm leaving that out of my rating. My bungalow was big enough for me, though it felt worn and not clean. The bed was hard, and there was nowhere to hang clothes. I was part of a large group for dinner, and the food was disappointing. The appetizer I tried didn't look appetizing. Plates came out two at a time, about five minutes apart, which really surprised me. They were running low on choices, so I ordered fish and chips and regretted it: two small, over-fried pieces of fish, though the fries were good. I wasn't going to have only fries for dinner. The creme dessert was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the bread pudding was too heavy for me. I'd return, just not for the food or with a large group.

We ate breakfast outside each day in our little private yard and enjoyed the spectacular view. The small cabins make good use of their space, with high ceilings, white walls, nice decor, and comfortable furniture, so they feel roomy despite their size. It's a great place to unwind or stay close to the spots canyon country offers. We plan to come back.

I came with my dog and girlfriend for a last-minute New Year's trip, and Water Canyon Resort was beautiful. We had a studio that was just the right size and felt perfect for staying safe during a pandemic. My dog loved being outside and running around at Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Zion is an hour's drive away, and the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Our unit was just like the online pictures and was clean and comfortable. The hosts handled a last-minute date change and were very accommodating. We enjoyed a nearby grocery store, a cute brewery, and a few restaurants about five minutes away in Colorado City. Zion is about an hour's drive and Bryce Canyon about two, so the national parks take a bit of driving, though the beautiful views along the way made the time pass quickly. My husband and I had a wonderful visit and would recommend this charming tiny home for a quiet, scenic getaway.

The staff gave excellent service, and the resort was a great place to stay while visiting Zion. The studio apartments were very nice and had all the amenities we needed. The views were amazing as soon as you stepped out the front door. Hilldale seems to be growing and could become a major tourist destination. There are lots of food options in nearby Hurricane, and Zion is a very short drive away. I'd definitely recommend Water Canyon Resort.
