Americas Best Value Inn Hillsboro

We’re here until Friday morning. We had breakfast today, and the people working there are super friendly. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. There were a few disappointments, but I’d stay again if we’re back this way.

The room was nice, the staff were pleasant, and the shower was great. I was disappointed by the bathroom, though. My husband has a disability and finds it hard to get in and out of a tub, so I booked the accessible room. Unfortunately, it still had a tub and shower. They did provide a shower chair, which was kind of them.

I’d seen some bad reviews from a few years back, but the rate brought me in. I asked to see the room first, and it was clean, nice, and didn’t smell, even as a smoking room. It wasn’t trashy, and the location is pretty good, with a few fast food places and gas stations nearby. It seems renovated, and so far it’s the best place I’ve stayed during a week of traveling.

The front desk woman provided great customer service, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are good, though they could be cleaned a little better. I’m working nearby and feel comfortable here. It’s a good place to stop, especially overnight. There’s a pool, plus a pair of washers and dryers. Breakfast could be better, but there are basics to get going: cereal, a waffle maker, and coffee. If you need commercial machines, there’s a laundromat about a mile away. Walmart and a Wells Fargo are close by, so it works for me.
