The upstairs suite I had this year was lovely to return to after a day out, and it was just right for me. It was conveniently next to the tea and coffee bar, where there are always fresh cookies. This was my second visit to Squam Lake Inn, and I expect I'll be back each year. The staff are so kind, helpful, and welcoming. I had breakfast and dinner there, and really enjoyed the variety and creativity in the meals.

We loved the food and drinks, especially breakfast, and plan to return to this inn and restaurant. The staff were friendly and quick to respond without ever being intrusive. Our room was clean and comfortable, though not fancy, with a feel that reminded us of old New Hampshire.

Our stay at the Squam Lake Inn felt like stepping into a holiday Hallmark movie, and the food was the highlight. I'd definitely suggest booking dinner while you're there. We spent time relaxing at the Inn, and also went on a winter hike up West Rattlesnake, saw frozen waterfalls in Castle of the Clouds, and came across a Craft Sale in Sandwich. Thanks to Molly, Brendan, and the staff for being so welcoming!

The location made it easy to explore the area, and breakfast was a nice extra. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn.

We left already hoping to return. During our 10 day road trip, this Inn quickly became our favorite stop. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the bedding was the best I've had in all my years of travelling. The restaurant was so good we ate there two nights running. Staff were great, and the whole place had a lovely feel. The owners were sweet, kind, and hardworking. You can tell they love what they do, and that warmth is all through the property. The Inn is beautifully cared for, inviting, and full of charm. It's one of those rare places where everything just feels right.
