They fixed the TV issue promptly. The rooms are clean and pretty basic, nothing special, and everything else was good. My only real gripe is the pillows. They’re all pretty light and flatten too easily, so one doesn’t feel like enough, but two are too tall.

We’re still waiting for a room, so I can’t rate it. After a long day, we arrived at 8:45 at night and were told it would be at least 40 minutes before we could get in because it was still being cleaned. We’d prepaid, and there were three other groups waiting in the front area too. Check-out was at 11 a.m., so I don’t understand why the room was still being cleaned nearly ten hours later. This is unacceptable. We’ve stayed at Marriotts across the United States and never had this happen.

It’s close to lots of hiking spots and the beach, and Dairy Queen is right next door. We liked unwinding by the fire in the evening.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were so polite, helpful, and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely come back when we visit family in Holland.

The morning menu was okay, though I’ve had better. There seemed to be water damage that hadn’t been repaired properly, with visible marks on the ceiling and closet. The bathroom’s wooden frame was hanging by a thread and wouldn’t lock. Avery, the night clerk, was a pleasure to talk with and kept this insomniac company.
