The room looked clean at first, but once I got in the shower I saw little bugs flying around above me and on the wall. I recorded them on my phone and went straight to the check-in desk to complain. The man apologized and asked whether I had pictures. I did, and video too. He offered to move me, but I wanted my reservation canceled and a refund. The next day, management offered just $53 back on a $513.00 charge. I was livid. This was the worst hotel experience of my life, and the customer service was poor. This happened on 5/7/26.

The valet guys were the only staff who offered help without us having to track them down, and the housekeeping team seemed to care too. Our room was reasonably clean. The front desk woman looked bothered whenever we approached, and when our door code suddenly stopped working at night, she barely seemed in a hurry to help. It was also noisy from nearby rooms throughout the night, and the elevator reeked of weed. If you're looking for a place where nobody seems concerned about people being loud or smoking inside, this might fit.

The rooftop bar and restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, and the location and rooms themselves have real potential. The rest of our stay was a hassle. We had to download an app and memorize a code to use the elevator and enter the room every time. There were no key cards, just a needlessly complicated setup. Our room was dirty, with an open beer can in the fridge, and our room for 4 had only one pair of towels. There are no beach towels anywhere in the hotel. When we asked at the lobby, the receptionist kindly said towels would be brought up, but what arrived was a garbage bag of unfolded towels dumped on the floor. There was no room service during the stay, no free breakfast, and valet parking was expensive despite poor service. After checking out and calling for my car, I waited over 30 minutes for it. The place felt dirty, poorly supplied, and understaffed, like they were saving money at the guests' expense. DONT BOOK HERE!!

The neighborhood felt welcoming and safe to walk around at any time, with lots of restaurants and fun shops nearby. We tried several restaurants, from casual cafés to nicer dinners, and every one was excellent. The location really is unbeatable, and the views were fantastic. Our balcony room was clean, modern, and convenient, just right for us. The reception team was great. One staff member even offered to check whether I could get into my room an hour early before I asked. The coffee house and bakery staff inside the hotel were lovely too. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.
