The property felt run down, smelled bad throughout, and had a strange layout. It seemed like some people might be living there long term. My partner and I had booked a king room through a third party, but when we arrived, we were given two beds. The staff said they were out of king rooms and couldn't do anything, with an attitude that made it seem like they didn't care. My partner is 6'4, so we just had to deal with it. Check-in was frustrating too. It was Valentine's Day, and even though they said they were busy, only one person was working the desk at the main check-in time. There was no greeting or smile. I won't come back, no matter how good the deal is. Don't waste your money here.

I stayed here for Miami carnival and found it affordable and accommodating. The pool was modern, clean, and really nice, and there was plenty of parking. The little minibar at the check-in desk was handy, too. Thanks to the hard-working cleaning and grounds staff, who do their jobs really well.

I was disappointed by the service, especially after they kept putting off fixing their mistake. At check-in they took my driver's licence and didn't return it. After some back and forth, they agreed it was their fault and said they'd mail it, but a week later it still hadn't been sent. I called several times and was told the manager wasn't there and nobody could help. Before Covid, this place was a four-star stay for me. Now it feels like two stars. The rooms are clean, stocked, and everything works, though they smell strongly musty. The hotel used to include shuttles to the airport and cruise ports and a full breakfast. Now there's no shuttle at all, not even for a fee, and food is limited to small snack assortments.

The bedding was the worst part. My husband checked the bed with a blue light and found huge, wet-looking stains on the comforter, sheets, and the back of a pillow. We slept fully dressed, socks and all. Disgusting. The last photo says it all about their attitude, and I feel extremely lucky we didn't leave with any unwanted guests, if you know what I mean. 🤮 Other things were just as bad: every ice machine was out of order, some with cobwebs inside, and the staff were among the least friendly I've dealt with in hotels. Breakfast was a joke, they served cereal but didn't even have spoons. The bathrooms by the pool stayed locked, even with lots of kids using the pool. Would they really expect the kids to go all the way back to their rooms?
