We’d definitely come back. It’s a beautiful, peaceful home with lovely views, and our spacious room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The hostess was amazing, with all kinds of interests and talents, especially when it comes to cooking and baking. She made the jams and jellies herself and even had her cookbook for sale.

We’ve stayed at Majestic View six times, most recently in 2016. We had planned another trip, but COVID got in the way. Maria is a fantastic host, and her food is always excellent. The home is cozy, cool, neat, and a lovely place to stay. The name really fits the view. If we get the chance, we’ll be back!

On our first morning, a moose and her calf were right outside the window. Maria and her staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our three-night stay at Majestic View Bed & Breakfast. The room was very comfortable, with a large en suite bathroom and a balcony looking out over Homer, Kachemak Bay, the Spit, and the mountains. Everything was clean and neat, and breakfast each day came with plenty of delicious choices. We’d definitely recommend staying here.
