The staff were very friendly, and the free shuttle was a big help for my one-night stay before a flight. It took me right to the airline check-in area. Building was a little dated but clean. Walking from the terminals takes about 20 minutes, with sidewalks all the way, so it's possible even with luggage if you're up for that walk. Sorry to the shuttle driver for not knowing which airline. If you're picking up luggage from the storage service next to baggage claim 18, as of this review it is right below Alaska Airlines in Terminal 2.

The free airport shuttle was a real help after our evening arrival, and breakfast was decent, better than I expected for this kind of hotel. The room felt older than I expected, and we could hear the freeway nearby. It didn't bother us much, though it might bother some people. A McDonald's is next door, reachable through a small back door by the pool, but you need a key to get back in. There's also a gas station with a convenience store across the road. I'd be cautious walking around outside after dark. This was an okay place for a night or two when you need easy airport access. For a more relaxing Oahu stay, I'd look around Waikiki.

The hotel is close to the airport and works for a day stay. We paid almost $200 a day, so finding mysterious black residue in the sink on day one, shown in the photo, was a letdown. Maintenance came quickly and cleaned it up. Staff were cheerful and helpful, and the service was good in general. The buffet runs from 7 to 9, but the food quality was low: granola, yogurt, waffles, syrup, and bread. It was passable and seemed very crowded on weekends. The free airport shuttle runs every hour in the morning and every 15 minutes. Parking costs $42 plus tax per day, which is expensive. The rooms need an upgrade, and the plumbing needs improvement.

I stayed almost a month, and the staff were great. Luz on the 12th floor cleaned my room to perfection, the breakfast staff were so kind, and the front desk was helpful. The beds were comfortable, and for one of the island's cheapest stays, the location worked perfectly for exploring the whole island. Parking at $45 a night is a little pricey, though there is free street parking behind the hotel. The vents are loud, and rooms -01 through -05 face the highway and can be noisy. Ask for a room toward the back.
