We really liked sitting out on the balcony and appreciated the water station in the lobby. The pool was heated, which was great in December, and you can borrow umbrellas from the lobby. We got a Mountain View and enjoyed watching the outriggers on the canal. It’s easy to reach the beach, restaurants, and shops, and for the price it was a really good option. It’s an older hotel, but it’s been updated nicely and was clean. First time in Honolulu, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The road between the canal and hotel has traffic at all hours, so if noise bothers you, another location might suit you better. We adjusted.

I usually stay here whenever I’m in Honolulu. It’s affordable, in a perfect area, and even though it’s a smaller hotel, I honestly love it. Everyone is kind and it’s clean. There’s complimentary popcorn in the lobby, plus a fresh water machine, and the pool is heated. Valet is 45 a night, and the resort fee went up to 40 from 30 since my last visit. The inside gal fee is 100, which isn’t bad.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was nice overall, though it could use some updating, and the location worked well since it was near our son’s apartment. Most places were an easy walk away. Staff and room service were great. One day they missed cleaning the room and replacing our towel, but after we reported it, a fresh towel came within 10 minutes. They apologized for the mistake. Thank you.

The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. We also loved being able to check out towels, getting free coffee in the lobby, and finding crackers and popcorn each afternoon. The place was super clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything close by.

I was in town for a funeral, so I didn’t have much time to use the amenities. The front desk service was flawless, and my room had a picturesque view of the Ala Wai Canal and Koolau Mountain Range. I love the location in Waikiki, just a stone’s throw from Ala Moana Mall and its amazing food court. I used to live in the building next to the hotel, too, so it felt familiar. Wonderful experience.
