I left at 3 am just to get out of there. I didn’t even see Birmingham because I had to leave, and for almost $200 including the 75 pet fee, it was a truly awful stay. I honestly considered sleeping in my car in the parking lot rather than in the room. I’d asked for a first-floor room because I’d had about 100 stitches in my leg six weeks earlier, but they put me on the top floor. I’d also just adopted a dog, and the timing wasn’t great since I live alone. Then I got stuck in the elevator. It was very scary, and thank goodness it finally went down to the floor below. The engineer actually asked if I wanted to get back in. No! They said there was another elevator farther from my room, but its button didn’t light up and the area looked like a construction site, so I took the stairs every time. The wallpaper was peeling. The “handicapped room” wasn’t accessible for me, since I couldn’t even reach everything, and I can’t see how a wheelchair user could use the shower. There was scary police tape on a room too.

We loved the room layout and having a full kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator. It was also spotlessly clean, and the free breakfast was wonderful for a hotel breakfast. We were in town for a soccer tournament, and staying here was one of our best travel experiences. The location was excellent, close to everything, and I loved the pretty setting among the trees and moss.

BEST hotel breakfast I’ve had in all my travels, hands down. The room was modern, clean, and nice too. After a long day on the road, Miss Marketa Hunter at the front desk gave us such a friendly welcome. Staff like her make the first impression of a stay much better.

My family and I LOVE this place. We stayed while work was being done on our home in Birmingham, and they made us feel like family because they are a family. You can tell a lot about a business by how people talk about and respond to their leadership. Ivey, the General Manager, truly loves and takes care of her people, and they’re very loyal to her and this hotel. I can’t say enough about how special they made us feel.

A good place to stay near APA airport, with clean rooms and a gym. I enjoyed my stay, though I’d have liked more healthy breakfast options, like fruit.
