Hotel Nirvana

Whenever we’re in NYC, we stay here. It’s clean and well managed, with beautiful bathrooms, and the staff are always kind and helpful. It’s an easy place to sleep, and getting to Manhattan by Uber is simple.

Pretty peaceful, with a soft, comfy bed and nobody bothering you. There’s even a no-room-service sign. The staff were helpful whenever I had questions. It’s close to the train, food, shops, Queens bridge, buses, and more. I had a great stay and plan to come back soon to relax away from downtown Brooklyn. Five stars.

The front desk staff were especially friendly and accommodating, and we had a great stay. Our room was clean and nicely designed. The subway is close by and gets you into the city in minutes. It’s a convenient, affordable option for a short visit or a business trip.

MONEY WASTED. Stay away from this dirty hotel. The room cleaning was poor, and the sheets looked badly washed. I could still see stains, even though I’d specifically asked for clean sheets. The photos are misleading, and the tubs aren’t clean either. Breakfast choices were limited, and you had to arrive early before they ran out. I asked for room service and got no response, then had to wait for their rounds just to get clean toilet paper. The air conditioners weren’t cleaned, and the unit I was using for heat stopped working, leaving me to deal with winter cold coming through the windows. They wouldn’t give my money back after booking. This has turned into a rant, but it’s also a warning. You’ll probably have a better stay at another nearby hotel, like the Best Western.
