I've been in and out of homelessness and have stayed in hotels when I couldn't make rent for a week. The manager here was generous about the checkout time: he said I needed to be out by 3:45, but gave me more time instead of making me leave at noon so I could try to get the money together. Later, when he saw me waiting outside for a ride for a long time, he let me sit in the room for a while. That was really kind. The people are nice and try to work with you, and the rooms are nice too. My new room's TV says no signal for all my favorite channels, though, lol. It's okay.
The place has been quiet, clean, and nice, and I can't hear anyone next door or above me. The people in the office are nice, which is one reason I may extend my stay a little longer. They were also very helpful over the phone after my reservation accidentally got canceled.
It's no palace, but it's quite liveable and works for either a short visit or a longer stay, more like a small efficiency apartment. I wouldn't count on much from the cooktop, though. The TV also seems to have trouble getting the higher-numbered channels.
Ms Mia was kind, and the staff were pleasant. I enjoyed the stay, and getting into the laundry room with a key was easy. There was no fighting or fussing. A heads-up if you book online: the page might look like a receipt with the total, but you still pay at the hotel. The card only reserves the room. Thanks for the hospitality!
There's no mess and no drama here, and everyone is welcoming and really nice. Ms. Mia, the General Manager, is the best. She always stands on business and makes your stay feel like home. My time at Intown Suites has been immaculate.
