I needed a break from work and all the snow and cold, so I finally tried Curry Estate Restaurant 6 in Hopewell Junction, New York, for the first time on Sunday, February 1st, 2026. Antonio greeted me with a smile and a delicious bourbon old fashioned. I ordered off the pre fix menu: the crispy, succulent Duck Drummies with a tasty glaze, then Blackened Shrimp and Grits, which was the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. I finished with Amaretto cheesecake and a Cappuccino, and left feeling relaxed and unwound. Thanks so much, Antonnio! I also met a few of the sisters while admiring a beautiful old ice box. It was nice meeting you, Kathleen! Later I headed to The SS Beverly Bar, where Gabbi made me an extra dark chocolate Martini. I was introduced to Brittany, Emily and Cory, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I loved the real fireplace, hearing the stories about an ancient tunnel, and seeing all the port windows from the ship Nautilus. I'm retired from The U. S. Navy, so that was amazing to see. I hope to return soon, stay a few nights, enjoy time with my new friends, unwind, and hopefully catch some live music.

The Curry Estate team made our September 2025 wedding day feel effortless. Cathleen and Dawn, along with the rest of the staff and the sisters, are warm, passionate, and clearly know their stuff. They took care of every detail and felt like guardian angels. The venue is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the food and drinks are delicious. We also appreciated being able to tailor things to our needs, including bringing in catered ethnic food alongside their own menu. For the quality of the food, space, and service, the per person price felt fair and generous. We highly recommend Curry Estate, and we're grateful to the whole team. A couple of things could be smoother. In the months before the wedding, communication and project management took some follow up from us to make sure messages were received, updates made, and questions answered. We know the Curry sisters are managing weddings and other events every week, and everything for our day came together perfectly. If possible, extra administrative and project management support could help fill those gaps. The grounds were generally clean and well maintained, though we did spot cigarette butts in a few places when we visited before the wedding.

The meal was carefully prepared, and the presentation and quality made up for the wait. Our server was attentive and looked after us throughout. On my first visit to Six Estates in Hopewell, I found the place stylish, gorgeous, welcoming, and spotless. It made a lovely setting for the evening. We'd gladly return and recommend Six Estates.

The Brie is my favorite, and every time I visit I look forward to it. The food is consistently amazing, and dinner here always feels like an occasion. Antonio, the host, makes us feel welcome as soon as we arrive, and it's always lovely when Cathleen, one of the owners, comes out to say hello. That personal touch means a lot. From the atmosphere and beautifully designed rooms to the food, Curry Estate feels thoughtfully put together. The quality and the memories we've made make the trip and cost worthwhile. It's become one of our favorite places, and we hope to keep making more memories there. Thanks, Curry Estate, for always giving us such a wonderful experience.

We weren't sure what to expect from a new Christmas Eve dining experience, but we'd do it again. The staff were friendly and in the holiday spirit, even though they had to work. That's not always been our experience at other restaurants. Everything from starters to dessert was great, which can be unpredictable even at our favorite places on Christmas Eve. The crab cakes tasted fresh and had more crab than cake, even by this Mainer's standards. My ribeye was nicely savory and cooked just right. If they can get it this right on a holiday eve, I'd recommend them any day. Thanks for making it a special night for our family!
