Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Farmington

There are fruit flies coming out of the flood drain in the bathroom sink. I thought I'd killed them, but they keep coming back, and I can't enjoy dinner. I'll probably mention it, and they will most likely take care of it. This was my first time ever renting a hotel room, and I wasn't disappointed. I booked three days, and last night was my first night here. The bed is suuuper comfortable, and I slept better than I have in over three weeks. The shower pressure was nice, and the bath water was hot and felt amazing. The hardwood floor looks beautiful, and it's quiet here. They left towels, washcloths, shampoo, and conditioner. Around 11 they knocked to check if we were okay or needed anything. We didn't, but I liked that they asked. Parking is nice too. It's not a huge lot, but I like its size.

I killed almost 10 bugs in my room, and one landed on my face overnight. It was about 3:30am; by 4am I'd booked another hotel. After work I told the manager I wouldn't stay another night. When he saw I booked through another service, he said I had to contact them. I gathered my things and left, then called Chase right away. When they contacted him, he denied there were bugs. He also told me that if I'd booked directly, like another guest, he would have credited me for the same issue. I lost sleep all night, and being denied a $165 credit for a night I wouldn't be staying there was pretty wild. I literally just left after one night.

There was a strange food smell in the hallway, but otherwise it was a great room for the price. The location is convenient for all the amenities, check-in was easy, and the staff were polite and friendly. The room was cleaned well, enough that I could smell the cleaners, and it had plenty of shower and bathroom supplies. The grounds were clean, welcoming, and well lit. The AC worked excellently.

I stayed here for a concert at CMAC. It's walkable, but I'm not sure walking along 20 is a good idea, especially coming back after dark. It's an okay no-frills place. The staff were nice and helpful, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. The tub was a little worn. Breakfast was limited but okay, and parking was good. I didn't like finding a paper towel jammed into the peephole.
