Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

My room was huge, inexpensive, and extremely clean and tidy. The woman who checked me in was really friendly and suggested restaurants and things to do. There's a grocery store right across the street, and town is very close. I'm here for business this time, but I'll come back for a leisure trip.

I've stayed here a couple of times while visiting family, and I'll be back next year for my usual annual visit. The rooms have always been exceptionally clean, even though the hotel itself is older. The woman at the front desk was the sweetest. My only downside was road noise, which probably depends on the room. Mine was at the back of the building by a road, and passing larger trucks made it pretty noisy. I sleep with earbuds, though, so it wasn't a problem for me personally.

I don't travel much and tend to avoid hotels because I'm a bit of a clean freak. This room met my expectations, though. I checked carefully, and it was nearly spotless and seemed nicely furnished. A good place to rest while traveling.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the motel really needs some investment. I'm not fussy about a one-night stay, yet the blankets and pillows were so bad that I used my own. The city felt strange, with lots of homeless people and drunk people near the motel around 3 a.m.
