Red Carpet Inn

The room had an overpowering, disgusting smell, especially of smoke, despite being marked NO SMOKING. There was hair in the sink, a nasty buildup in both the sink and tub, and the once-white sheets had brown spots and smelled awful. We gave up the roughly $70 cost of a night's stay and found a much nicer hotel for just a few dollars more. Don't choose this place!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it seemed safe enough for a place to sleep. Beyond that, the whole property felt worn out and badly in need of repairs. Wi-Fi barely worked in our room, and the sink had no cold water. I had to run the hot water for about 30 minutes before it was warm enough to shower. The snack machine was empty, and the soda machine kept my money. If you want a pleasant part of your trip, there are plenty of better options.

My husband and I booked ahead and stayed one night for our mini honeymoon, which was all we could manage at the time. It was a nice, very clean little motel with enough room, a TV, Wi-Fi, and a heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub in the honeymoon room. The workers were friendly and we had no problems. It's close to Magic Springs too. I'd read mixed reviews, including some saying the place was nasty. If it's really that bad, I wondered why those guests didn't tell someone or ask for another room. Our room was clean and nice for a motel. Sure, it's very outdated and needs updates, but we had a great stay, so it's a five from me. We'll stay again.

Check-in took ages. The first room they unlocked for us hadn't been cleaned and was filthy. When they opened the second, big roach-looking bugs ran out. They did refund us very quickly, though.
