Blossom Hotel Houston, Curio Collection by Hilton

Melvin and Pertrese turned a disappointing arrival into a seamless, memorable stay, and I'll absolutely return. I came back to Blossom Hotel Houston after a wonderful business stay the previous year because the property is beautiful, well appointed, and consistently gives a luxury experience. There was a mismatch with my reservation. I had booked a high-floor Deluxe Studio with a King bed through my Luxury Lifestyle Collection, but at first I was assigned a double queen room. After several weeks of travel, and with my partner meeting me in Houston before my next business destination, that was disappointing. Melvin and Pertrese listened carefully, looked closely at the booking, and explained transparently that reservations through some lifestyle collections are processed as third-party bookings, with final room assignments at the hotel's discretion. I appreciated their professionalism. Most importantly, they worked hard to get me the room type I'd originally reserved. Their explanation and effort to accommodate me completely changed the experience. Customer service like that is rare.

The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully put together, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and lovely linens. I especially liked the calm, upscale feel and all the little design touches. The staff made the stay feel personal too. They were kind and attentive from check-in through checkout, and seemed to notice what I needed before I asked. The Blossom Hotel has a warm, modern atmosphere that feels luxurious without being formal. Its amenities and shared spaces were well kept, and the mood felt peaceful while still lively. I left feeling looked after and relaxed. This turned an ordinary trip into a stay I’ll remember.

The bar on the top floor is open in the evenings, though there isn’t much within easy walking distance. I’d have liked a lobby coffee bar with a few quick food options as well. Even so, I had a very nice stay and would come back. The hotel is in the TX Medical Center area. My room was roomy, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. The amenities were top notch.

The one thing keeping this from a five-star rating was the required parking fee, $50 per night. That’s the most I’ve ever paid for parking. The valet team was great, though. We had a clean, efficient, elegant two-bedroom room with plenty of space, and the hotel provides handy little toiletries. Its location is convenient too, just minutes from many of Houston’s popular spots.
