Crystal Inn

I won't stay here again. I was traveling from out of town and stayed overnight, and this was one of my worst hotel experiences. I woke up in the middle of the night with a roach crawling in the bed, and also saw roaches on the floor and around the room. The room was filthy and poorly maintained, with dirty surfaces, stained furniture, damaged fixtures, peeling paint, dirty air filters, and grime in the bathroom. Front desk service was terrible, too. The employee checking people in spoke rudely and dismissively and had no people skills. I've traveled often and never been greeted with such an unfriendly attitude at a hotel. His behavior seemed completely unsuited to hospitality. I even suggested he consider a different career. I was traveling with my service dog and had documentation, but they treated me as if I were doing something wrong and made me pay a $50 deposit. I felt like a criminal just for having a service animal. Between the roaches, neglected facilities, rude staff, and the way they treated me about my dog, I'd strongly advise travelers to avoid this place. There are cleaner places that treat guests with respect.
