Stay Express Inn and Suites Houston Hobby Airport

We liked having a peaceful break from everything, and the staff were really friendly. The room cleaning needs more attention, though. The floor hadn't been mopped, there was someone else's hair on it, and I found ashes in the nightstand drawer. Housekeeping should do better.

We slept great, especially with those incredibly soft comforters, and the place was clean. The downstairs bar was cozy and relaxing, so we had a few drinks there before heading back upstairs. Staff were friendly, parking out front was easy, and the price felt fair for the stay. A great spot for a weekend.

The view from some of the rooms is the one drawback, but I've figured out which ones to ask for. Otherwise, check-in is easy, and the front desk is super friendly and always helps me out, day or night. Really convenient.

The affordable rates and safe, gated property are a plus, and there's a clean outdoor pool. Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC, Popeyes, and Burger King are all within a mile. The front desk staff are polite, kind, and professional, and they're some of the best women I've come across in a long time. God bless them and richly increase them through Christ's name, amen. The lead housekeeper is rude and can be very forward, knocking on the door right at 11:01. A lot of rooms smell moldy now, and after a hot shower the room gets foggy and the walls sweat.
