Hotel Daphne

The boutique hotel itself was stylish, clean, and beautifully designed, with impressive architecture and a luxurious feel. I’d happily stay again for the rooms and atmosphere. The restaurant was a completely different experience. Brunch was extremely disappointing, and both of us genuinely felt sick afterward. Service was chaotic, inattentive, and nowhere near what I’d expect from a hotel with this kind of setting. The hotel was polished and memorable, but the restaurant was poorly executed and let the morning down. I’d avoid brunch there unless things improve a lot.

We chose the king bed premiere room at this lovely little boutique hotel in the Heights. The shower was one of the best I’ve seen in years. It was wide enough that we didn’t bump our elbows, the showerhead was high enough that I didn’t have to stoop, and the water pressure was great.

This was my first stay, and I’m glad we now have a go-to hotel in the Heights. It’s brand new, and the service was great. The room was surprisingly quiet, too. We’d usually stay by the Galleria because there weren’t any good hotels around here, but no more.

A great find in a perfect spot in the Heights. The hotel is brand new, though Google Maps still shows a vacant lot. Staff were attentive, genuinely welcoming, and very focused on service. The rooms are beautifully done, and the showers are honestly among the best I’ve had in a US hotel. Tip, you can get a discounted rate directly through the Hyatt website.
