Moving into my new apartment last week went really smoothly. J’Nay kept me updated about the next steps and checked in after I moved. She and the team were responsive whenever I had questions or needed something, and I really appreciated their hospitality.

Raul, the maintenance manager, handled a few issues in my apartment quickly and professionally. Jenny and Sandra on his team were very helpful as well.

Chris did a great job answering questions and guiding the tour. Jynae, the young black woman who said she was new, shadowed us during the tour. Later, she went into the office and spoke badly about me and my sister. My sister was asking valid questions that might have felt overwhelming to someone new, but Jynae didn't know I was in the office listening when she called us annoying and said we gave her a headache. Maybe she talked about guests because she is new, but I highly recommend she not speak badly about guests to coworkers. I'm not offended, just concerned about her work ethic. She treated her coworkers like friends at a bar, gossiping. It looks very bad, and speaking badly about guests makes it seem like she may not be mentally strong enough to handle the job.

The facilities are very nice, but communication was poor and the whole process of trying to rent an apartment was awful. On a Saturday, the salesperson Christopher Malik showed me around and I explained what I needed and preferred. He said he'd get back to me early the next week, but didn't, even after several calls and reminders. The following week, he told me my preferred apartment was becoming available and that I needed to submit an application for $75. I paid, but two weeks later still hadn't heard anything, so I took my business elsewhere. I can't tell whether Mr Malik was simply incompetent or whether the application fee was part of a scam. Be careful, they aren't transparent. Domain Management contacted me on December 7, apologized and promised to mail a cheque refund. By January 14, it still hadn't arrived. I also left a voicemail and, of course, got no reply. Another broken promise.
