HI Houston Hostel

The pool and patio were beautiful and really clean, and the hostel itself was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean, and there’s a full kitchen and fridge for your own food. A grocery store is just a short walk away. It’s much cheaper than a hotel and a better way to meet people. I’d recommend it to anybody.

It’s a good spot if you want some downtime, though it’s quite a distance from downtown. The hostel was very clean, with a nice range of rooms, and the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly, helpful service. You can rent towels, locks, and other basics, and there’s a pool out back with a pleasant place to relax with a beer.

I’ve stayed at several HI Locations in Cali, and this was my first time at this one. It’s quiet, the staff are amazing, and the pool is a great touch. Breakfast even had eggs, which is hard to beat for free. I’ve gone out of my way to return to places I like, and I’d do that here. I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re new to Houston and enjoy meeting people from all over the world, this is a great hostel. It’s in a gorgeous neighborhood, and the place feels spacious, modern, and clean. Staff are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff. The large kitchen has plenty of dining room seating if you want to cook and eat there. Rooms are clean, mostly with bunk beds, and the bathrooms have hot showers and clean towels.
