At over $500 a night, this room was far below what I expected. The shower sent only about 30-40% of the water through the showerhead, with the rest coming out of the tub faucet, so there was very little flow above and unwanted water pooled around our feet in the tub. The sheets were badly wrinkled, and I'm not sure they had been changed. On one of the two beds, nearly all the filling had shifted to the edges and corners of the down comforter. The towels also seemed quite worn. This was the worst Marriott hotel we've stayed in. We had to keep the room for that one night because of time constraints, but thankfully found a much better nearby hotel for the rest of the trip.

I've been a Marriott member since 2011 and have status, but I've never had staff treat us this poorly. The hotel now uses AI for calls, and it takes forever to reach a person. Regina Hernandez, the manager, and the front desk were especially disappointing. I don't think she should be greeting guests. I brought a cake for my daughter's birthday and asked if there was a cooler I could put it in because the party was only a few hours away. We ended up leaving it in the closet. If you're looking for attentive service, I'd stay at ZAZA or POST OAK Hotel instead. They're much more expensive, but you get care and attention to detail.

My daughter and I spent about six months here, traveling back and forth for medical care, and the staff were so kind to us. Every person we met helped make stressful days easier. I hope they know how much we appreciate them. I'll remember their kindness forever.

We stayed here last year and gave it five stars. It's still in a great location, with nice rooms and a good staff, but this visit wasn't as good. We booked a rate that included M Club access, yet the hostess said on our first morning that our room number wasn't on the breakfast list. To her credit, she called right away to verify it. After breakfast, we got the red card we'd should have received at check-in from the front desk. The next morning, around 7:30, the buffet wasn't ready. There was trash all over the dining area, the coffee was cold from the day before, and there were no juice dispensers. If the person responsible for setup didn't show, someone should have noticed and delegated the work sooner. I was also disappointed to find that Marriott no longer provides robes or complimentary slippers. The in-room brochure still invites guests to relax in them, but neither was there. Maybe it's a cost-cutting measure, which I understand, but it was still a letdown.
